The EFR Anaphylaxis Injector Training Course provides participants with the essential knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to an anaphylaxis emergency. Anaphylaxis is a severe and potentially life-threatening allergic reaction that can occur rapidly and without warning. This course is designed to equip individuals with the confidence and expertise needed to administer adrenaline auto-injectors (e.g., EpiPen, Emerade, Jext) and provide emergency first aid for allergic reactions.
This training is particularly valuable for those working with children, in schools, healthcare, childcare settings, food service, and other environments where severe allergies are a concern.
Covers Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and AED usage.
Includes techniques for managing choking in adults, children, and infants.
Focused on building confidence through guided practice and hands-on learning.
Aligns with the latest Resuscitation Council guidelines to provide up-to-date methods.
Cardiac arrests often occur without warning, even in individuals with no prior history of heart disease. Fewer than 8% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest victims survive, but proper CPR and AED use can improve outcomes, reduce recovery time, and prevent temporary or long-term disabilities.
This training also equips participants to remain calm, think clearly, and make informed decisions under pressure—key factors in handling emergencies effectively.
Anaphylaxis requires immediate medical intervention. This course provides a comprehensive overview of the condition, its causes, symptoms, and how to correctly administer an adrenaline auto-injector.
Training includes both theoretical learning and practical hands-on experience using training units of common auto-injectors. Participants will leave the course with the ability to confidently respond to an anaphylaxis emergency and potentially save a life.
Upon completion, participants receive a certificate valid for 3 years, demonstrating their competence in handling anaphylactic reactions.
The EFR Anaphylaxis Injector Training Course will teach you:
Introduction to First Aid – Understanding the role of a first responder in allergy emergencies.
Definition and Causes of Anaphylaxis – Identifying common allergens and risk factors.
Recognition of Symptoms – Distinguishing between a minor allergic reaction and a serious anaphylactic reaction.
Basic First Aid for Allergic Reactions – Treating mild symptoms and preventing escalation.
Emergency First Aid for Anaphylaxis – Responding to severe reactions quickly and effectively.
Medication Administration – When and how to administer an adrenaline auto-injector.
Hands-On Injector Practice – Demonstration and practice using training units of EpiPen, Emerade, Jext, and other common auto-injectors.
This course ensures participants gain confidence in using an auto-injector and applying emergency protocols until professional medical help arrives.
Anaphylaxis can be fatal without immediate treatment. This course ensures participants can:
Recognize early warning signs of anaphylaxis.
Respond effectively with the correct emergency procedures.
Administer adrenaline auto-injectors confidently to help prevent fatal reactions.
Provide emergency first aid while awaiting professional medical assistance.
This training is essential for individuals responsible for children, food safety, public service, and workplace first aid.
Allergic reactions can occur suddenly, and immediate action is critical. This course ensures you are prepared to act decisively, potentially preventing severe complications or saving a life.
This course is ideal for:
First aiders and workplace responders who need specialized training in anaphylaxis management.

A really good training course, very professionally presented by Tracy. I’ve been on lots of training courses over the years and too often they can be soporific! Tracy is one of those rare training professionals who can deliver training and keep a person interested all day! Great course. Highly recommended!

Couldn't recommend Tracy and her team enough for a first aid course. Having to renew it every 3 years used to send me to sleep. Not with these guys! Professional, up to date and with lots of toys to play with, without the death by powerpoint.
