The EFAW course equips participants with the practical knowledge and confidence to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies in the workplace. The training combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on exercises to ensure participants are fully prepared for real-life situations.

Participants will gain proficiency in essential first aid skills, including:

  • Scene assessment to evaluate safety and identify hazards.

  • Barrier protection to ensure personal safety while providing care.

  • Primary assessment, including checking for responsiveness, breathing, and circulation.

  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for adults and children.

  • Recovery position for unresponsive casualties.

  • Management of serious bleeding, shock, including seizures, spinal injuries, choking in adults, burns and temperature-related injuries, minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
