All higher risk workplaces that have identified a need for comprehensive first aid e.g. light engineering and assembly work, food processing, warehousing, extensive work with dangerous machinery or sharp instruments, construction, chemical manufacture, via a First Aid at Work risk assessment, will find that the First Aid At Work course over three days will meet their legal requirements for first aiders.
All workplaces are obligated by law to have first aid coverage. According to the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations of 1981, employers must supply suitable equipment, facilities, and trained personnel to promptly attend to their employees in case of injuries or illnesses at work. This specific first aid training is well-suited for designated first aiders working in medium to large high-risk environments, such as construction sites.
The FAW blended course consists of both theoretical and practical training, BUT the theoretical work is undertaken via materials provided to you to complete PRIOR to the course. Then our experienced trainers will deliver hands-on training to ensure participants feel confident and capable of handling the practical elements used in emergency situations in the workplace.
This approach ensures that individuals have a thorough understanding of first aid principles and the confidence to apply them in real-life situations.
Workplace emergencies can happen at any time, and having a qualified first aider on site can make a significant difference to the outcome of an incident. This course covers a wide range of first aid procedures including CPR, treating common workplace injuries, and managing choking incidents; making sure participants are prepared to handle emergency situations.
Regular training is crucial for maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and it demonstrates a commitment to ensuring a safe and secure workplace for employees and visitors. By taking the First Aid at Work course (Blended), participants can gain confidence and the essential knowledge to provide effective first aid in any emergency, potentially saving lives and minimising the impact of an incident.

A really good training course, very professionally presented by Tracy. I’ve been on lots of training courses over the years and too often they can be soporific! Tracy is one of those rare training professionals who can deliver training and keep a person interested all day! Great course. Highly recommended!

Couldn't recommend Tracy and her team enough for a first aid course. Having to renew it every 3 years used to send me to sleep. Not with these guys! Professional, up to date and with lots of toys to play with, without the death by powerpoint.
