The EFR First Aid at Work (Blended) Course is designed for higher-risk workplaces where a comprehensive first aid qualification is required. This course meets the requirements outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is ideal for industries such as light engineering and assembly work, food processing and warehousing, construction and chemical manufacturing, workplaces with dangerous machinery or sharp instruments. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for 3 years.

Shock & Spinal Injury Management: Stabilising casualties effectively.
Choking Management: Handling conscious and unconscious choking emergencies in adults.
Minor Injuries: Treating cuts, bruises, and scrapes.
Temperature-Related Injuries: Managing burns, hypothermia, frostbite, and heat stroke.
Fractures & Musculoskeletal Injuries: Assessing and treating sprains, strains, and fractures.
Medical Conditions: Responding to heart attacks, strokes, asthma, seizures, diabetic emergencies, and allergic reactions.
Poisoning & Crush Injuries: Recognizing and treating exposure to harmful substances and trauma.
Workplace First Aid Regulations: Understanding RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases, and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
Assembling a First Aid Kit: Ensuring workplaces have the correct medical supplies.

Practical Training: Attend two consecutive days of hands-on, instructor-led training to practice first aid techniques and apply your knowledge in realistic scenarios.
Assessment and Certification
Assessment:
Participants are continually monitored and assessed throughout the practical portion of the course.
A multiple-choice question paper will be completed on the final day to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
Certification:
Valid for 3 years upon successful completion.
Meets HSE requirements for workplace first aid compliance.
To renew your certification, you must complete a First Aid at Work Requalification Course before your certificate expires.
