The EFR 12-Hour Care for Children Course is a comprehensive paediatric first aid training program designed for Early Years Practitioners, Childminders, and Nannies. This course meets all EYFS / Ofsted requirements, as well as compliance with CSSIW and Scottish Early Years regulations.
The training provides essential life-saving skills tailored to infants and young children, ensuring that caregivers and childcare professionals can respond effectively to medical emergencies. Upon completion, participants receive a Paediatric First Aid Certificate, valid for 2 years.
This course provides both primary care (CPR) and secondary care (first aid) skills, ensuring participants can:
Manage life-threatening emergencies such as choking, cardiac arrest, and severe allergic reactions.
Recognize and treat common childhood injuries and illnesses.
Respond confidently when medical services are delayed or unavailable.
The course content is based on guidelines from the Paediatric Working Group of ILCOR and adheres to the latest government recommendations for First Aid in Schools, EYFS Framework, and Ofsted Childcare Regulations.

A really good training course, very professionally presented by Tracy. I’ve been on lots of training courses over the years and too often they can be soporific! Tracy is one of those rare training professionals who can deliver training and keep a person interested all day! Great course. Highly recommended!

Couldn't recommend Tracy and her team enough for a first aid course. Having to renew it every 3 years used to send me to sleep. Not with these guys! Professional, up to date and with lots of toys to play with, without the death by powerpoint.
